PanTrack: AI recipe generator and nutrition tracker
PanTrack is a free app that combines an AI recipe generator with a detailed nutrition tracker. It runs in the browser on iPhone, Android and computers, and installs to your home screen like a regular app.
Recipes and tracking are connected: cook a generated recipe and PanTrack logs it in your food diary in one tap, with its ingredient list and an AI nutrition estimate that you can correct.
Install PanTrack like any other app
PanTrack is a web app at pantrackapp.com, so there is no app store download. Tap Install and PanTrack is added to your home screen, where it opens in its own window without the browser's address bar, like any other app. On iPhone, tap Install and follow the steps: Share, then Add to Home Screen. PanTrack also opens without a connection, and your food log stays editable offline.
AI recipe generator
- Generate a recipe from a photo of your ingredients, from what is in your pantry, or let PanTrack surprise you.
- Choose My Style, which follows your preferences and ratings, or an authentic classic.
- When you opt in, recipes are tailored to your diet (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free or carnivore) and to goals such as high-protein, keto or low-sodium.
- Set a time limit and how many pans you want to use, down to one-pan cooking.
- Scale servings, cook along step by step, and read every recipe in your own language.
- Keep a pantry with expiry dates: recipes start from what expires first, and cooking subtracts what you used.
- A shopping list that knows what is already in your pantry.
- Rate dishes and share recipes with a link.
Nutrition tracker
- A food diary, calorie counter and macro tracker that follows your nutrient intake, including vitamins and minerals.
- Nutrients tracked: energy (kcal), protein, fat, saturated fat, unsaturated fat, carbohydrates, sugars, fibre, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, selenium, zinc, and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D and E.
- Food data from NEVO, the Dutch national food composition database by RIVM, USDA FoodData Central, Open Food Facts and the PanTrack community.
- Barcode scanner for packaged food, and a label scanner that reads the printed nutrition table.
- Missing data is never counted as zero: totals show "at least" when a food lacks a value, and every entry names its source.
- Meal moments (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, pre- and post-workout), routines for foods you eat often, and editable past days.
- Trends and averages for every nutrient over the past week or month, and PDF reports over a period you choose, for example for a dietitian.
Personal daily targets
- Targets based on the Mifflin-St Jeor equation and IOM and EFSA reference values, each with its source.
- Goals to lose weight, maintain, build muscle or eat mindfully.
- Targets can be set to match a dietitian's advice.
Privacy
- No sign-up: no name, email address or password. Your account is anonymous.
- Health tracking and diet-aware recipes are opt-in and off by default.
- Your account, food log, profile and pantry can be deleted from inside the app.
